NSW-3 represents COSNet participants at Charles Sturt University, a multi-campus regional university in New South Wales (NSW), and other NSW participants.

The Centre for Research in Complex Systems (CRiCS) is one of seven Charles Sturt University accredited centres. It has about 30 members, including associate members, and covers three major themes of research:

  1. complex systems theory
  2. applications, particularly socio-economic agent based modelling
  3. the complexity paradigm in psychology and the social sciences
