Hi my name is Navin Doloswala. I have recently submitted my doctoral thesis, entitled "Sifting through technology: Creativity and technological choice in electronic music production" through the Centre for Industry and Innovation Studies at the University of Western Sydney.

I am interested in how emergent networks intersect with knowledge networks. Is there something fundamentally different about virtual knowing.

  • Peer to peer exchange networks
  • self organising systems and open source / open content networks
  • self organising systems and knowledge networks

In particular I am interested in the effect of these structures in terms of implications for development. Thus I am particularly interested in questions on the extent to whichy developing nations can leverage self organising networks of knowledge to achieve various development aims.
